Je suis diplomee en Textile et Design (University of Missouri- Columbia). J’ai travail en New York City depuis 2014 à 2018 création de lingerie femme et enfant
I am excited to find this potential job opportunity via LinkedIn because I believe it could be a great fit for my qualifications. I’ve been working in the Fashion Industry for over 9 years in a variety of categories including women’s, kid’s, infants, sleepwear, knits, and intimates. About 5 years ago I decided to quit my job in NYC and move to France with my husband.
Since we moved to a region that does not offer many opportunities in the fashion industry, I had to create my own opportunities by embarking on the scary path of entrepreneurship. I decided to create my own online business selling Vintage Fashion in the European market. I sold my products online and at vintage markets as well as collorating with another online retailer called Imparfaite Paris. I also took time to add another fashion skill to my basket by studying haute couture embroidery aka Broderie de Lunéville from the Chateau de Lunéville. During that training I worked for an embroidery workship called Atelier Vuillaume who embroiders for major fashion houses in Paris, Milan, and London. This along with learning french has given me a new view of the fashion world.
My next adventure is to shift full time into freelancing. My wide range of knowledge helps me understand how to design for both American and European brands to fit their target audience. My main focus is trend research, mood boards, fashion illustrations, print design, technical drawings, tech packs, product development, and communication with factories to kick start an apparel line.
